Action Track USA Gives Back To Racers With Race Fuel Super Sale On Media Day, May 5th

Kutztown, PA – Not only will co-promoters Rich Tobias and Doug Rose give everyone a “sneak peek” at their beautifully renovated speedway on Sunday, May 5th, but they will also be offering a one-day Super Sale Extravaganza to race teams as they swing open the gates to the JeffreyHogueRealtor.com Action Track USA.

“Our objective in getting into race promoting was to give back to the racer in any way we can,” explained Rose. “With Sunoco Race Fuels coming on board as the official sponsor of the USAC Championship SpeedSTR’s, it has allowed us to give back to all racers from any track or any area.”

As a result of the partnership with Sunoco and Insinger Performance, the JeffreyHogueRealtor.com Action Track USA will be selling drums of race fuel at greatly discounted prices during Media Day on May 5th.

Alcohol will be offered for $160.00 per drum ($2.91/gallon). Sunoco Blue gasoline will be available for $478.00/drum, which works out to $8.68/gallon. Sunoco Purple will be priced at $449.00/drum, which translates to $$8.16/gallon.

This sale is open to ALL racers from ANY division; there will not be any limitations on quantity so race teams are encouraged to take advantage of these incredible prices and stock up on race fuel at the Super Sale on May 5th.

Interested parties should contact the Action Track USA representatives at: contact@www.motorsports.marketing to reserve drums. This sale is for one day only, and fuel must be purchased by the drum.

In addition to the Race Fuel Super Sale, everyone is urged to come out and see the transformation that has taken place at the Kutztown Fairgrounds when Media Day is presented on Sunday, May 5th.

The festivities will begin at 1 p.m. Drivers, crew members, fans, and media members are invited to visit the gorgeously renovated facility of speed in anticipation of Opening Night, which is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22.

During Media Day, there will be some on-track activity, as the top three drivers in points from last year’s championship standings have been invited to test the widened, progressively banked oval. Most of those wheel-twisters have already responded in positive fashion, including defending track champions Jeff Hartman (wingless 600cc Micro-Sprints), Kutztown’s own Jarid Kunkle (winged 270cc Micro-Sprints), and the Oley Jet, Brett Bieber (All Star Slingshots). The majority of drivers who finished second and third in points in those divisions have also indicated their intention to attend Media Day and log some laps on the clay oval.

Top drivers from the 2012 SpeedSTR USA regional standings, including point king Paul Lotier Jr., will also get an early test session on the new layout. Joining Lotier will be Brittany Wixon, along with Brandon and Freddie Rahmer.

Along with those SpeedSTR regulars, some of the drivers who generated a major buzz when they announced their intentions to compete at the Action Track on a weekly basis – names like Kenny Brightbill, Craig Von Dohren, and “The Edge” Brian Monteith – will take their first laps on the reconfigured oval during the Media Day festivities.

Their cars and haulers will be parked on the driveway behind the grandstands so that the fans in attendance can get a close look at the SpeedSTR’s and mingle with the drivers as they make adjustments between practice sessions.

All of the drivers attending on May 5th will be made available to members of the motorsports media for Q&A sessions as well as photo opportunities.

The day will have a “street fair” atmosphere, as several of the track’s marketing partners will be on hand with displays and treats. The Keystone Blood Mobile will be open for business for those wishing to donate much needed blood to local health providers. Empire Home Center will have furniture for sale, and Rita’s Italian Ice of Blandon & Kutztown will be serving some of their delicious offerings.

In addition, Pocono Raceway will be promoting their NASCAR events, along with the celebrated return of the Indy Cars to the 2.5-mile triangle.

Noble Street Notary and We Logo It will also set up displays to showcase their products and services.

“Media Day is a day for us to show off our new facility and a day to put the spotlight on all those who have stepped up to help us,” noted Tobias. “This is a great way to give back to our marketing partners, as well as to the Kutztown community and Berks County area.”

Tobias also mentioned that he’s got a big surprise in store for those who show up for Media Day. He’s going to name one section of the aluminum grandstand as a tribute to a local racing legend. The sign bearing the name of the driver will be unveiled during the busy afternoon.

He summed it up by saying, “So stock up on your drums of fuel, give blood, enjoy some delicious Rita’s, and check out some of our great marketing partners. It’ll be a terrific way to kick off our first season of competition at the JeffreyHogueRealtor.com Action Track USA!”
